DeepSeek just released DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017. Its Hugging Face model card calls it a minor update, but it improved on all 11 benchmarks in DeepSeek’s own table, with Terminal-Bench 4.0 jumping from 31.2% to 42.3% five weeks after V4.1 Flash. On DeepSeek’s DeepSWE v1.1 cost chart, it reaches 77.0% at about $0.20 per task, the highest score on that chart.
