If you've built an MCP server this year, you're already most of the way to building for Alexa+! Amazon made MCP the standard for how outside services plug into Alexa+, and their new global hackathon is built around exactly that. Alexa+ track: bring an MCP server or an Agent Skill and show it working. No Echo needed, you can simulate the Alexa+ side in a web app with your own agentic tools. There are Fire TV, Ring, and Bee tracks too. $190K in cash and AWS credits. First place on the Alexa+ track is $25,000 cash plus $15,000 in AWS credits. Submissions close October 23, 2026.
